Lead Writer of Award Winning Film The Gambler, Directed by Karoly Makk

A dramatic film that tells intertwining stories adapted from Fyodor Dostovesky’s novel, and the circumstances and events surrounding its composition.  The film was directed by Károly Makk and starred Michael Gambon, Jodhi May, Dominic West, Polly Walker, and Luise Rainer.  Produced by Canal Plus Image International, Channel Four Films, and Gambler Productions, the film was released in 1997 in Europe and America, winning awards at the Brussels International Film Festival, the Emden International Film Festival, and Festroia: Troia International Film Festival.

Italian translation of the Introduction was done in collaboration with Alberto Rossatti. Published by Rizzoli-Mondadori, 2021.
